Negitive, Slide & Transparency scanning  

The scanner used by Ace Picture Framers, for negative, slide and transparency scanning is a Microtek 120tf. This scanner will scan 35mm negatives, 35mm slides and 6x4.5, 6x6, 6x7, 6x9 large format negatives and transparencies.

We can scan at resolutions from as low as 72 dpi and up to 8000 dpi. Scanning at very high resolutions can produce files in excess of 500 megabyte and this is just from a 35 mm transparency. The information captured from this small slide is amazing. This particular scanner can automatically focus, sharpen and remove dust and scratches while scanning. We have 120 preset customized negative film types and all scans can be saved to CD or DVD and up to 9 different CD/DVD formats and DVD Ram.

We also have an A3 flat bed scanner for all your art reproductions and photo scanning, with an A3 transparency scanner on top which will scan x-ray and the like. This A3 scanner will scan from 72dpi to 19200dpi.
